RTV-A500
RTV-A5OO: CEILING UNIT WITH IONIZATION
The RTV-A500 consists of an EPP ISO plenum box, a lonstar, a statically charged filter and a swirl diffuser. The RTV-A500 has a lower resistance than a Hepa filter, while the filter in combination with the ionization is just as effective as a Hepa filter, but with much less resistance. This makes the RTV-A500 energy efficient and efficient.
PLENUM
The ISO plenum box is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene). EPP has a closed cell structure, so there is no moisture absorption. The plenum box weighs only 800 grams. Due to its low weight, this plenum box does not need to be suspended from the architectural construction. This provides significant savings on assembly costs. Due to the special sloping round shape of the plenum box and the fact that the plenum box is stackable, a considerable saving on transport and storage costs of approximately 80°/o is achieved. The plenum box has a high thermal insulation value of 0.040 W/(m K).
IONIZATION
An ionstar is integrated in the RTV-A500. The ionizer works through ionization. The ionization process ensures that all particles in the air are statically charged. The specially treated, statically charged filter (SGF) in the RTV-A500 then captures these particles. In this way, all contaminants disappear from the air and purified, healthy air is introduced into the room. The air in the room is also ionized, causing the particles to be precipitated from the air. The lonizer is supplied as standard on 230 volts and is also available in 110 volts, 12 volts and 24 volts. The ionizer is plug and play.
STATIC LOADED FILTER (SGF)
A statically charged filter is integrated in the RTV-A500. The ionization process in the RTV-A500 ensures that all particles in the air are statically charged. The specially treated, statically charged filter (SGF) then captures these particles. The filter filters almost all ultrafine particles, nanoparticles, smog, soot particles, bacteria and viruses. Just like the filters in an air handling unit, this filter must be replaced in time. The filter plate is fitted with hinges and push-pull closures. This allows easy access to the SGF filter section for replacement.

The RTV-A500 is supplied as standard with a swirl diffuser Type WS 450. This diffuser is suitable for the supply of cooled and heated air in offices, shops, schools, etc. The RTV-A500 must be built into suspended ceilings. Due to the excellent vortex effect, a high induction is realized, so that the air temperature difference and the speed of the blown air decrease quickly. The grid is extremely suitable for
VAV applications.
